Test Prints For Recent Portraits

Here’s a recent test print I made today. I’m fortunate to work as an Art Technician at Denstone College, which gives me access to a photographic printer for testing my work.

After a bit of a break post-graduation, I’ve been shooting more consistently and capturing some really special portraits. These two images were printed on Photo Lustre Paper, and I’m really happy with how they turned out. Hopefully, they’ll become part of a larger series down the line.

Right now, I’m enjoying photographing a range of interesting people across the West Midlands. There’s no clear project taking shape just yet, but I’ll keep shooting and sharing my work—something will emerge in time.

CHATGPT had these words to say if this was a good approach to making work.
